Terrazzo Floor Restoration
Grinding, patching and re-polishing original terrazzo — common in older South Florida buildings and almost always worth saving.

Terrazzo restoration, flake epoxy and polished concrete in Hollywood and south Broward. Free on-site measurement.
Most floors we install run $6 to $7 per square foot. Hollywood is one of the older parts of Broward, and that is the whole story of its floors: a large share of the houses east of I-95 were built when terrazzo was standard, and that terrazzo is still down there under carpet, tile or vinyl. Restoring it is usually cheaper and always better than covering it. West of the highway the slabs are newer and coatings make more sense. Between the beach and the Intracoastal, moisture is the deciding variable — we test it before we recommend anything.
Two markets in one city. Restoration for the older housing east of the highway, coatings for the newer slabs west of it, and textured systems for anything that sits outdoors near salt.

Vinyl flakes broadcast into the wet resin, then sealed. Hides dust and tire marks better than any solid color — the usual pick for garages. A heavier broadcast gives a full, granite-like texture with more grip, which is what holds up around pools and service areas.

Diamond honing and polishing that brings dull, scratched marble back without replacing a single tile.

Mechanically refining the slab you already have through progressive diamond grits. No coating on top — the finish is the concrete itself.

A textured coating for the concrete around a pool: cooler underfoot than bare slab, grippy when wet, and sealed against chlorine and sun.

A penetrating or film-forming sealer against oil, salt and water. The cheapest thing you can do to make a slab last longer.
$6 – $7
per square foot, installed
That range covers most of what we quote. The South Florida market runs from roughly $5.50 to $14 per square foot, so we sit in the lower third — and we would rather you know that before you call than after.

Pull up a closet corner or lift a vent register and look. If the house was built before roughly 1970 in east Hollywood, the odds are good. Send us a photo of whatever you find and we will tell you what it is and whether it can be brought back.
Not a bad idea, but the wrong system is. Slabs close to the water carry more vapour, and a fully sealed coating over one of those will lift. We take a moisture reading first and pick a system that can breathe when the number calls for it.
Yes, with an exterior system — different product from an interior floor because it has to handle UV, rain and bare feet. It is quoted separately from the interior work, and we can do both on the same visit.
Regularly. Give us the management contact and we send scope, schedule and insurance documentation straight to them. Most of the delay in condo work is paperwork, so we start that before the crew is booked.

Send photos and the approximate square footage. We come out, measure, and give you a number at no cost.
